Type in the actual square metres of concrete you need (or will need after measuring).
• Measure length × width of your driveway (in metres)
• For irregular / L-shaped drives: break into simple rectangles and add them together
• Stay within the maximum allowed for your chosen size category (e.g. max 80 m² if you picked 4×4)
Quick tip: Most residential driveways in Liverpool and Lancashire fall between 40–80 m².
Select concrete thickness / depth
Choose the slab thickness that matches your project requirements:
100 mm – standard for most domestic driveways (light vehicles)
125–150 mm – recommended for heavier use, vans, or longer-lasting results
Thicker concrete = more durability and slightly higher cost — we normally recommend 125–150 mm for imprinted/patterned concrete in the UK.
