Who We Are
Avant Gardens & Driveways is a Liverpool-based specialist in patterned imprinted concrete driveways, patios, landscape design and artificial grass installation. We serve homeowners across Merseyside and the surrounding areas.
We are a directly-employed team — no subcontractors, no agency workers, no exceptions. Every operative who arrives on your property wears our uniform and works to our code of conduct. Sean Mark Smyth
Sean founded Avant Gardens & Driveways and has led every aspect of the business since its inception. He holds a National Diploma and a BA (Hons) in Landscape Design and Construction — qualifications that underpin the patented construction specification that makes our lifetime guarantee possible.
With over 35 years of experience in the landscape industry and more than 20 years specialising in patterned imprinted concrete, Sean has an unmatched depth of knowledge of the materials, techniques and installation standards that determine whether a driveway lasts five years or a lifetime.
Sean personally oversees the design process on every project and is the author of our unique construction specification — the document that sets out exactly how every Avant Gardens driveway is built, from excavation depth to sealer grade. No other company in Liverpool offers a lifetime guarantee because no other company builds to this standard.
