Which potato shall I grow?

Maincrop variety

Potatoes are an ideal veg to grow in the garden and they can be used for so much in the kitchen. There are so many potatoes to choose from, they are specifically categorised into two types, Main crop which tends to be grown later in the year and usually produces a larger crop. They grow for a larger period through the Summer and into Autumn

Early variety

These smaller varity are usually prode a tastier spud and are a little smaller to the main crop, usually known as new potatoes.

It's also important you choose a potatoe that is not prone to desease or suffers from the frost.

Maris Bard potato the all rounder

This potato comes very well recommended for unearthing this time of year, it's known as most reliable for delivering a good crop. It's very resistant to draught and bruising and is ideal for salads, roasting and frying.
